Lauren Blum is a passionate storyteller who creates and edits meaningful content that aims to inform, engage and inspire.
She is an Associate Editor at First for Women and Woman's World magazines, which are two of the best-selling magazines on U.S. newsstands. Prior to her current role, she was a marketing Writer/Editor at Pace University in New York City. She is a regular speaker at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Journalism Workshops and Conferences and is a judge for the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle Awards.
She is a graduate of Penn State University where she received her bachelor's in journalism. She completed several internships throughout her college career at Marie Claire magazine, Elle magazine and USA Today. She was also a reporter and editor for her college newspaper, The Daily Collegian, and a communications intern for Penn State's College of Engineering.
She has won several awards for her writing, including a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle Award and Pennsylvania Scholastic Press Association Awards.
